Plum Fairy Tea' Sunday in LJ

Festival Ballet will present a “Sugar Plum
Fairy Tea” from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the
Lake Jackson Civic Center.
The Sugar Plum Fairy extends a personal
invitation, especially to children, to
attend the event. Admission to the tea is
$10.
Each child will have the opportunity to
experience “The Nutcracker” story come to
life as he or she samples wonderful treats
from the land of the sweets, meets the
dancers dressed in costume, browses the
Nutcracker boutique and enjoys story time.
Festival Ballet will present both matinee
and evening performances of “The Nutcracker”
Dec. 18 and 19 at the Alvin Community
College drama theater, 3110 Mustang Road.
Tickets are $13.
The 2 p.m. performance Dec. 18 is a special
“Sugar Plum Day at the Ballet.” Children who
come dressed in their favorite costume will
receive a complimentary gift.
